Of course, we all know this year, everything is a little bit different. But what is the Shimmy Shake Talent Carnival without a bazaar?! That is why we gathered all the vendors for an online bazaar! We have vendors from the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium and Spain, so exiting to welcome them all.

How does it work?

On this page we introduce all the vendors who would have been at the Talent Carnival this year. All of them also brought in a product you can buy directly in this article. If you do this, we will forward your order to the vendor. They will handle the order with you. 100% off the purchase will go to the vendor. Like what you see, and want to see more? Baquey Turkish Art

Baquey's shimmering Turkish mosaic lamps will give that oriental feel to any room. They are little gems during the day but at night, the thousand-and-one pieces transform into one magical light. Mata Hari Tribal

Mata Hari Tribal is an online shop which specializes in Fat chance style bellydance clothing. From 25-yard skirts, to choli’s, pantaloons and body chains. You can get it all in this shop! Mata Hari Tribal was funded by an amazing lady from Friesland (a province in the Netherlands) who as a young girl had an obsession for Mata Hari and bellydance.

For the Talent Carnival, store owner of Mata Hari Tribal, Jikke, offers online fitting and costuming consultancy. It is hard to chose the perfect clothing and size from a photo online, that is where Jikke comes to the rescue. In her own words:

‘Want to have a real-life fitting session via Zoom?Leave a message via mataharitribal@gmail.com (or reach out via Facebook or Instagram) for a private Zoom fitting session. During this session, you can request skirt/pantaloon/choli combinations that I will put up on a dress form; this way you can imagine yourself wearing this combination. We can also have a conversation about your costuming needs; providing you with more input on your costuming journey’.

It is possible to make an appointment on Sunday June 14th between 12 and 16:30 CEST. Or later in the week until Sunday June 21st.

Merhaba Orient-Shop

This shop has had the treasures of the Orient ready for their customers since 1993. Belly dance clothes in classic or tribal style (for performances and training), jewellery, accessories and all accessories for the production of belly dance or tribal needs. Fusion, Gothic, medieval clothing, silver or costume jewellery, there is something for everyone!

My Choli

My Choli offers beautiful handmade cholis, made by Inken from Germany. A Choli is a kind of cropped top with sleeves, worn often by Tribal Fusion Bellydancers and has its origin in Indian clothing.

Inken has an entirely own view on cholis. In her eyes, they should be witty, modern, fresh, comfy and colourful. The Cholis made by Inken are exclusive and really for every woman.

The Victorian Cholis by Inken are made of elastic Velvet and available in many color. During the Talent Carnival Online Bazaar you can order the Gold One, but reach out to Inken for all the other colors. Among them Black, Violet, Moss Green, Bottle Green, Purgundy, Purple, Brown, Navy, Blue, Grey or Taupe. The Neckline can also be altered to your taste, from heartshape, round and V-neck. Cut-Outs on the shoulder area are also possible!

Creatribal is the Bellydance clothing brand ran by Sissi Gauthy from Belgium. Sissi is a bellydancer and dance clothing designer with a lot of energy and creativity.
